What the photographs show.
The dry-out. On day one the wet drywall is cut away along the bottom of the wall and the drying equipment runs on the bare slab. Air movers dry out the room, and anything the water touched comes out: carpet, plank, trim, insulation. A room stripped back to the slab and studs looks worse than it is. It is the honest starting point for a rebuild that lasts.
Leak detection. A thermal camera reads the wall from the outside, so we know where the water is before anything is opened up. The photograph of the family room wall is that reading.
The rebuild. New ceiling drywall hung and taped with the crew on stilts, new plywood decking going down on a roof after a storm. This is the part most restoration companies hand off. We do it in house, and Chuck writes the scope the way your insurance adjuster reads it.
Finished. A basement hallway with plank floor, white trim and fresh paint. A hall bathroom with a white vanity. A laundry room with grey cabinets. The new floor runs through the doorways into the next room, so the house reads as one and nobody can tell where the water was.
